It is so important for students to have the hands on opportunities to learn. Students are eager for these unstructured opportunities and these materials will allow them to expand their thinking in new and unique ways. Building constructively and collaborating is a true prerequisite to success in the world today. The core school subjects are still incredibly valuable however a student's ability to think outside the box, offer new ideas, and make connections will help them thrive throughout their schooling and beyond. Providing students with materials such as Lego, blocks, and Magna-Tiles will allow them to build in ways that replicate and expand on the world around them. Materials such as Wedgits will allow them to create more abstract and unique structures expanding their thinking in new ways! Thank you so much for considering this project and we (my students and I) appreciate your contributions!
