I spent the summer creating and then teaching lessons virtually. One of the biggest challenges I faced was effective math instruction. It is very difficult demonstrate problems using the computer. Setting up fractions, for example, is time consuming. A document camera would allow me to do the work on paper quickly while the students watch, saving time and keeping their attention. I have found keeping my students engaged in the virtual setting to be one of my biggest challenges. Thank you for your time and consideration for my very deserving students.
