My students will benefit from a Listening Center that includes a CD player, headphones and books on CD's. Currently my students choose books from the library but can only enjoy the pictures. A Listening Center would expose students to fluid, expressive language where they can sit alone to enjoy a book or with up to four classmates. A Listening Center is also a multi sensory way to enhance my student's experience of books and to exercise their imaginations. What a way for my students to learn the joy that books can bring into their lives and to be able to learn new vocabulary.
