My students need a place to get their wiggles out. We have a brand new building, but it has only desks in the room. We have a room that is suppose to help meet sensory needs. Last year we had LEGO and blocks, but that was it. I want to give these kids large motor sensory items with the crash pad and indoor therapy swing. They need to have an outlet for when they need a break. We want to keep it a positive enforcement. The donations to this project will allow the students to have a sensory room to get their wiggles or aggression out safely. I am trying to make a room that will have large motor sensory items. The other half of the room will have quiet sensory items such as fish, puzzles, and LEGO for those that just want a quiet break.
