Chemistry is the study of matter and how it changes. Since everything is matter, chemistry is essentially the study of everything. In order for my students to learn more about the world in which they exist, scientific calculators are an essential tool; not having said tool will create tough barriers for them to overcome as they work hard to master the content. Whether it is determining the molar mass of a water molecule or calculating the amount of carbon dioxide emitted when we burn methane, students need the mathematical support a Texas Instruments TI-30XII calculator can and will provide them.
