My students are AMAZING, hard workers who overcome challenges everyday just to be in school. They face poverty, live in an high-crime area and often have adult responsibilities at home. They are the hardest working students in Baltimore---going to school 3 weeks longer and for a 9 1/2 hour school day--yet they remain excited and enthusiastic about learning!
