Time travel back to a classroom 50 years ago and compare it to a 2018 classroom. How many classrooms do not have computers for students to use in 2018 (not counting the teacher's laptop)? A learning center with Chromebooks will allow all of my students to use technology to complete assignments, meet their learning styles, have the text read aloud and provide access to information on the internet. The students will be able to use the laptop to find information from several websites such as NEWSELA, procon.org, and other educational websites. The learning center with laptops will also allow students to create their own website and place information on Google Docs.
