Please help me to outfit my classroom with enough Kindle Fire devices for students to use in a 21st Century learning environment. Many of my students come from low income homes and do not have access to technology. Kindles in the classroom provide access to learning tools and information that many students don't have available to them outside of school. A variety of Kindle apps are available for students to use for competitive learning games, curriculum review, literacy activities, research and much more! Use of tablets gets students more actively involved in a lesson. With these Kindles, my students will be able to work in groups of 2 or 3 on class research projects, curriculum review and online learning games. Ultimately, my goal is to have a device for each student. Every Kindle purchased brings me one step closer to achieving that goal!
