Shoulder to shoulder, elbow to elbow, knee to knee, and in some cases, toe of shoe to back or pony tail to nose! My students' current classroom rug doesn't allow for much of a physically un-distracting or comfortable sit down learning space. Increasing their rug size increases their own personal learning SPACE. Most of the time, we are focused on keeping our minds in the right learning "space," but sometimes it's our physical space that's holding us back! Adding an extra couple feet may sound like a short distance, but it will go a long way! Personal physical bubble space and the ability to see are what every child deserves. These two key features are essential to help keep focused and stay engaged! Our class easel is not what it use to be, missing screws make it a nightmare to turn around, it's a battle every time, and a battle for the students to not take that small fraction of time to disengage. The height is now unable to adjust, making it more difficult for the students in the back to see the board fully. 99% of our lessons have something to do with our class easel! Both these items, though on the higher end of the price scale, are the two most heavily used items in our class. Twenty-four little bodies will be ever so grateful for the extra wiggle room and Twenty-four little minds will be very appreciative of having a clear and all-in-one-piece platform from which they see their lessons! Thank you!
