My students are from an inner-city area where literacy resources are limited. These Storyworks magazines will give them a rich selection of reading materials they refer to, practice skills and can keep. Students become better readers with the more opportunities they get to practice using rich text. Storyworks will make a wonderful additional resource within my classroom. The magazine is inclusive of all the genres my students are expected to have knowledge of by the end of the year. Their continuous exposure to all genres will create a solid foundation for their success. Please help allow me to give this opportunity to my deserving students.
