How can students show what they truly know if they are unable to communicate? Everyday 21st century skills require students to have voices to be able to collaborate with other problem solvers. Every child is given a voice with the right tools and it can open up their minds to the technology world. In my classroom, speech can be a challenge for most. However there is a select few who requires additional tools to voice what they are thinking. These iPads will have apps downloaded for students to use as communication devices when working with others or when they need to communicate their wants and needs. These iPads will also be used in class projects for kids to create and show off their bright minds. Technology engages students and allows them to be in control of their learning and voice their thoughts. Every child is different and have their own minds and styles of learning. Using technology like iPads will encourage kids to be more involved in their learning along with developing skills to use technology. Technology is a major part of everyone's everyday life and the students should utilize it in their daily lives and understand how it can help voice their thoughts and ideas.
