My students need good quality headphones for many of the projects that we undertake in my classroom. These headphones connected to a Chromebook allow them to create podcasts over various topics to show their learning, connect with students across the United States or on the other side of the globe through Google hangouts or Skype as we study various ecosystems and climates, or collaborate with other Science classrooms on lab results or even research Scientists on questions they may have on a certain topic. Knowledge is no longer limited to what is contained in a textbook or what I can teach my students in the limited amount of time I see them each day. These headphones will allow me to teach them where to go to gain the knowledge they might need. My mission is to inspire them to be life-long learners!
