Our students are bright, talented and energetic young people who live in high poverty. Each student is excited and ready to come to school daily to learn despite the prevalence of high poverty within the community. However, many of these students lack the extra instructional time at home required to achieve their full academic potential. This is not because the parents do not care for their children, but because these busy, working parents are doing everything in their power to meet the daily needs of food, love and shelter for their children. Therefore, I appeal to you to be a part of the "village" it takes to raise a happy, healthy, lifelong learner.

About my class

Our students are bright, talented and energetic young people who live in high poverty.
