I work with students with many different learning styles. They work best when they are able to get up and be mobile in the classroom. It gives them an opportunity to get out of their seats and collaborate with their peers. Dry erase lap boards would give my students the opportunity to enhance their communication skills while collaboratively working with their peers. I typically would have my students working at their desks with either paper and pencil (which is not as eco-friendly) or use dry erase markers on their desks. Writing on their desks works for the most part, but it does not allow them to be mobile. They can only collaborate with the students that are in their group. Having dry erase lap boards would allow them to work with other students with varying learning personalities.
