My students can REALLY benefit from various types of seating options inside the classroom. I feel that incorporating the use of bouncy bands and balance balls will keep students comfortable, and well as engaged so they are able to put forth their best work. I have already purchased a small pack of the bouncy bands to see if there was a difference with students, and it was a HIT! Students were able to bounce in their own seats without drawing attention from others. This project will really help jump-start my flexible seating arrangements within my classroom, in hopes to expand this in the near future. I have many students who need an outlet to get out energy in order to be more focused on the learning environment. I am so excited to see all students have the opportunity to have a bouncy band on their chair to use each and every day, and the positive impact this will have on their academic success.
