These stools will allow between 1 to 6 students at a center or small group table, preventing a crowded or chaotic atmosphere. Because the stools take up 75% less space than a standard chair, they will create a larger center or small group space for students to work in. In addition to creating more classroom space, stacking the stools also allows our custodians the ability to sweep spots under tables that are usually unreachable because of student chairs. With the use of the Norwood Commercial Plastic Stools, students will be able to move their seats with ease and control, minimizing distraction and undesired behavior during centers, small-group, and whole group instruction. Not only will these stools be used in centers/small groups, they will also be used in whole group settings as well. If a student in group one needs to work with students in another group during whole group or independent instruction, they can quietly bring a stool over instead of dragging their desk chair.
