One extraordinarily important quality in an effective classroom is diversity of seating options. Not all students are able to concentrate well in a traditional desk and chair seat. My goal is to provide the options including stools and cushions to meet these students where they are. If we are able to provide a multitude of flexible seating options for our students, it increases the likelihood that they will feel comfortable and ready to learn. The additional of a round high table in this project has been very excited. This will be used for small reading groups, writing workshops, and provide another flex option. Having a round table at standing/stool height will foster better collaboration and get students up and active.
