Actually cutting out the various felt pieces with the Friskar scissors, and using the Delta Sobo fabric glue to apply the design; increases the student's focus and attention to detail as they work with these materials to make their own costumes/props. Hands-on work in costume and set design, allow the students to learn about the detail and time crew members put in, to make the "magic" happen behind the scenes of a theatrical performance. Because they will work directly with the design and creation of the set and costumes, they will experience that special feeling of pride and personal accomplishment. They will be in awe when they see the backdrop they designed suspended on the Neewer System!
