My special learners will use the hands-on, play-based materials to learn and explore! Many of the items are sensory tools that will stimulate their senses while meeting their social, emotional, physical, cultural, and cognitive needs. The students will enjoy using the variety of learning materials as well as having a classroom that is organized and functional. Students will gain early literacy skills with the Learn the Alphabet Dough Mats, learn emergent math skills through calendar and number recognition activities with the Peg Number Boards, learn how to follow patterns using the Indestructible Giant Beads and Patterns, develop language skills through the Touch & Learn Picture Card Library and First Word Board Books while using the Soft & SafeComet Balls, Activty Scarves, Mad Mattr Sensory Dough and Bean Bag to meet their sensory needs.
