I have a few students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The Visual Cards for Calming, the Weighted Tactile Beanbags, Spiky Tactile Cushion, would benefit greatly by being able to redirect their attention at their desks. It can be very distracting for the other students when the students get up and begin roaming. The colors from the Advantus Cropper Hopper Home Center Rolling Cart, Post-it Super Sticky Notes, and the 100 Words Skills Books help the student focus on their specific color, and the other tools are going to benefit and help maximize the students in need while insuring the other students are learning, and not distracted. The Scholastic News will help the students find something they are interested in, and then they can follow up on the idea. When students are engaged and they are interested in what they are learning is interesting everything else will fall in place.
