Kindergarten students are always moving. By providing them seating options though exercise balls for small group time, it will help them be able to better focus and and concentrate in the kindergarten classroom setting. Kindergarten has become much more academic over the past years with less time for physical movement, so adding the exercise balls to my small group areas would provide them an acceptable method of doing so within the classroom learning time. It is my hope that this project will make a difference in our small group sessions to make our students more engaged, enjoy small group, and get their wiggles out in the process of learning.
