These books will help my students go on their literary adventures and share their journeys with one another in class book talks. I design each lesson for students to move inside my classroom as our bodies were not meant to sit idle-especially our children so let’s get up and move and share some reading adventures together. The selected books are contemporary reads which I can utilize for book talks, grammar lessons, vocabulary awareness and linear plot analysis. While I have been growing my library slowly, it is costly to purchase so many contemporary reads to keep exposure of literature current for them. We will also need a book shelf on which to store our new books.
