Having the appropriate tools to make technology accessible for young students is important. When using the iPads we model and encourage students to handle them with care. However, being only 6 years old, accidents happen and things fall on the floor. These iPad cases will make a difference in my students learning by allowing them to safely use the technology that is available for them at school. While using an iPad, students have the opportunity to use programs to strengthen their phonics skills, and explore nonfiction books through online libraries. Having the ability to use an iPad also allows for differentiated instruction. Students are able to access ebooks that are on their guided reading level. These cases will be utilized by students and give them the opportunity to access technology safely.
