Morning Tubs are tubs that hold various STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) materials. I am requesting materials such as Plus Plus Blocks, Legos, Marble Run, Magnetic Blocks and Interlox Squares to be used in our Morning Tubs. These materials will be placed on students' tables for them to explore and play with in the morning between the first and second bells. These activities give students a relaxed and fun, but still educational, way to start their day. Morning Tubs allow students to use their imagination, create and work together with their peers as they explore and build. It has been discovered that play and laughter can help break down the effects trauma and stress have on a child's brain. Your donation will help provide opportunities for students to play in an educational way every morning, helping to better prepare them for the school day.
