My students struggle reading nonfiction text and these series of books make it more interesting to the students so they want to learn and read more. This will help them not only i.porve their reading skills but will help them on the state test as well. They will develop reading skills that will be useful to them throughout their life and will have a better understanding of historical events. My students will.increase their reading level by reading books that are a little above their level but not too hard with too many unfamiliar words. These series are great for students.
