We promote and use a variety of Google extensions to aid in comprehension and understanding, but most importantly allow these special needs students to use technology to level the playing field for them in the general education classroom setting without feeling different. These 5 Chromebooks would help them have access to readers any time of the school day, as well as be used for immediate access to mobile word processors, calculators and math activities, vocabulary dictionaries, visual aids, and help them with classroom projects. Most importantly this would allow students to become fluent with how to use a computer. Students will be able to keep up on evolving computer skills as they get older, while still allowing them to use their accommodations and modifications.
