These portable CD players will allow students to independently listen to books during literacy block. Students can pick books that they are interested in to listen to and read along with. They will then be able to read along and become more fluent readers. This will foster a lifelong love of books and learning! I have many books that include CDs about a variety of subjects including seasons, dinosaurs, ocean, animals, alphabet and number awareness to name a few. Children love being able to make choices and using these portable CD players will allow them to make more choices and to listen to more books during their allotted time.
