According to best practice in education, having a flexible seating arrangement in the classroom dramatically promotes student engagement and learning. Giving the students a choice in where they sit and what kind of seat they will be in gives them ownership over their learning environment and therefore, of their education as well. Kindergarten students are not well suited for the typical desks in rows classroom arrangement and I believe it is our duty to provide our students with the most effective, proven learning opportunities possible. Flexible seating will dramatically impact our classroom in a positive manner and I cannot wait to see the results. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for considering a donation to this project.
