These wobble chairs will make a huge difference in my classroom next year. Next year our schools is departmentalizing grades 4-6. That means I will be moved to 6th grade and I will be teaching reading to all of the 6th graders. We use a program that has the teachers pull groups of students by an ability level to the reading table to learn and practice the skills they need at their level. Wobble Chairs will allow my fidgety/active students a way to stay active but focused at the same time. I will have students back at my reading table all day, so these will benefit a large amount of the 6th-grade students. I have one in my room now and students fight over it daily. My goal is to be able to provide flexible seating for every student who enters my room.
