Our students were recently introduced to coding through Hour of Code. Students showed great interest in coding and were eager to learn more about coding. We used online computer coding programs and now want to expose students to coding and moving 3D objects, such as robots. We now want to add robotics to our coding. Our goal is to show students the connection between coding and everyday life and the important role coding plays in the many items we use daily. Coding and robotics are both part of the STEAM initiative that our school recently adopted. We now want to introduce them to robotics, and coding and robotics can go together. We are in need of 3 Dash robots to help our students learn about both coding and robotics. By using coding and robotics, students will become creative thinkers and problem solvers. These robots will allow students to transfer what they have learned from the online coding program to a more tangible object. Thank you so much!
