This iPad will help many students in our classroom to communicate and express themselves. Through the app store, many different applications have been developed for students to promote communication and/or interactive learning opportunities. It will allow the students to foster a sense of independence that they have not always felt before. The ability to communicate wants and needs will be a game-changer for many of my students. It will also eliminate the frustration that comes from a lack of ability to communicate how they are feeling. This iPad and the protective case will allow my non-verbal or minimally verbal students to find their voice.
