Night by Elie Wiesel is a powerful novel and it included in one of our most important units of sophomore English. While they may have studied this period of history before, reading Elie's memoir helps them understand the horrors that many European Jews experienced. Students are both horrified by what he endured and amazed at his strength. Due to the pandemic, students can no longer share a class set of novels as we have in the past. Our school needs more copies so each student can have their own copy.
