Reading aloud is the most important activity for building the knowledge and developing the skills my students will need for learning to read. Having a collection of fiction and nonfiction books to read aloud will engage students and enrich their learning experiences in many subject areas. By donating to our project, my students will not only show increased attention and focus, but they will ultimately increase their academic achievement. All of these books have been chosen with my students and our curriculum in mind. These books will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. The books that are placed in our classroom are treated with love and care. We are thankful for them and for the opportunity to read them.

About my class
