As a donor, you have an exciting opportunity to give these kids a way to learn on their terms. I want to provide a classroom that offers choices that best fits the students and will help them succeed. My students love to be able to move about the room during the 90 minute block. Creativity does not always happen at a desk. Last year I brought in some of my old blankets, pillows, exercise balls and a donated used bean bag for our reading nook and they LOVED it! Each day they as they entered the class, they would be immediately calling dibs on the items. I would love to add more so we can have a productive and inviting environment. I am excited to be able to add the Safco standing desk for those students who do not like to sit. The Bean Bag chairs will be perfect for reading and writing and the Balance Ball are the perfect option for the ones who like movement but don't want to stand. By adding flexible seating options, I have watched my students become more engaged and active earners. Your generous donation will help them focus and academically achieve far greater than ever before. THANK YOU!
