In 2nd grade, students are beginning to expand their knowledge of literacy. By donating to this project, you will be helping my students continue their journey in reading. This rich collection of fiction like the Magic Treehouse and Junie B. Jones along with non-fiction guided reading books and educational magazines like TIME for Kids will enhance the students' learning experiences in all subject areas. Creating a library of quality guided reading books is irreplaceable! The more engaging and abundant the reading options are, the more interested kids will be in what they are reading, and the more eager and motivated they will be to continue reading and learning. Wobble seats and exercise ball chairs are beneficial to not only all students, but more specifically to students with ADD/ADHD. They will allow each of my students to take breaks and get their wiggles out to help them continue learning throughout the day.
