This project will provide my classroom with 10 Casio scientific calculators. These will be available for students to borrow and use during my class. In chemistry and physics, a scientific calculator is a necessity, just like pen and paper. Unfortunately, not every student in my classes is able to afford one. These borrow calculators will allow those students to be able to complete their classwork. I will also allow a student to check out a calculator and take it home if they need to do so to complete an assignment. Since most of my students already have a Casio scientific calculator and/or can afford one, a set of 10 should be enough for my classroom.
