Hollow wood blocks will allow students to explore and create in new ways in our Pre-K classroom. STEM play in the block area is critical to creating a strong foundation for science, math, critical thinking, and problem solving skills. These hollow blocks will challenge our young students brains to engineer in new ways with their hollow construction, varied shapes, larger sizes and ramp surfaces. The blocks can be used in other areas of the classroom including large group, science, sensory and outdoor classroom. They address social skills because they promote collaboration and problem solving. The sky is the limit for our learners with this open-ended, hands-on building material.
