Every day starts with a smile! I have 21 eager students that come to school ready to learn more each day. I am very fortunate to be the collaborative teacher for our 2nd grade team. I am able to work closely with our resource teachers and paraprofessionals to provide individualized instruction for students of all levels. My school is a suburban school in the Midwest that is home to 492 students K-5. We currently have four sections for each grade level. We are driven by our school mission “To unite school, family and community by inspiring, challenging, and empowering each of us to grow as life-long learners and responsible citizens.” My students take pride in independent and group projects and accept the challenges that come along with collaboration and team work. They love being able to explore, create new things, and are highly motivated by project base learning, especially when technology is involved. I want to
