My students have a wide range of learning abilities and needs. My students thrive through communication, and many have difficulty sitting still for long periods of time. They require constant movement to stay engaged in their learning. In standard desks, my students have difficulty sitting and focusing. They stand in their chairs, lean back, fidget in their desks, and are overall uncomfortable. My students learn best through collaboration and movement. The exercise balls and desk bands will help provide the movement necessary to help my students focus on their learning. Choice seating will provide them with a more relaxed environment, eliminating pain and the frustration of trying to stay still while they are learning and further eliminating distractions.
