Flexible seating and opportunities for cooperative learning are essential elements of the environment I enjoy creating in our classroom. I want students to be able to easily work together and collaborate during their learning. We have flexible seating chairs as part of this environment, and the tables would make such an impact on making our movements in the classroom fluid and easy. Our chairs consist of stools and exercise balls, as well as lap desks and comfortable pillows. Students will be given the opportunity to chose their tables and chairs during the majority of our learning times. I feel that this project is important because it effects the learning environment. It is my goal as their teacher to create a fun, safe, and relaxing learning environment where students are able to reach their fullest potential during their time in my room!
