I have the honor to teach in a dual immersion school in a small town in California. The majority of our students are low income and at least half are English Language Learners. Our school has made incredible academic progress in the past years despite the fact that many of our families have never graduated from elementary school and have to work two jobs in order to put food on the table. I love our student population and will do whatever it takes to get them what they need.
