I am specifically looking for basic supplies such as pencils, markers, crayons, dry erase boards, storage materials for station activities, motivational stamps and stickers, materials to hang anchor charts and classroom jobs and organizational supplies. By having what we need and a designated place to put all of our supplies, these materials will help make a difference in my students' learning. I find that the best learning often occurs when students are problem solving through hands-on activities and real world situations. I enjoy creating fun and out-of-the-box assignments for my students because of how well they learn from it. Many of these students who are learning English thrive off of hands-on activities that engage multiple senses. By having more materials on hand, my students will be able to easily engage in the creative projects and assignments that they enjoy. I will also be able to make long-lasting classroom station activities (problem solving task cards, fact fluency puzzles and interactive games) that I can store and refer back to for interventions.
