In my STEM class, students will learn to design and create with technology, preparing them for the world full of technology that most can only imagine. Many students will only have the ability to see their work on a screen, never getting to hold their work in their hands. With the use of a 3D printer, students will have the ability to express their thinking, ideas, and work in a tactile way. This will open up doors for better and deeper thinking. For some, simply seeing a 3D shape on the computer doesn't translate to a clear understanding. We will use our 3D printer to take our projects from the screen to reality.
