My dual language students are bright and highly motivated! They are eager to learn, and come from families that value their education. Our classroom is Spanish-only. While my school does a great job acquiring resources for Spanish teachers, there is still a large gap in what is available to teachers. Over 3/4 of our school's families live below the poverty level and it has been beautiful to see our school striving for strong partnerships with parents to support our kiddos in and out of school. In the classroom, it is my goal to continue this work and to provide the students with rich learning opportunities and a safe environment to thrive in. The students deserve to have someone advocating specifically for their needs, and any support from the community will be appreciated beyond words.
