These books will add to one of the most important areas in my classroom. The library! The library is what my classroom centers around. We do read alouds, the students browse and select their favorites books and they spend time diving into a great book. I have just finished my first year teaching and one of the many things I learned is that a love for reading needs to be developed at a young age. This will follow them throughout their lives and only enhance their future. I want my students to build this love of reading now, by reading books that captivate their interests. With these materials, the students will find books at their level. I chose a variety of levels to meet all my students. In addition, the students will gain books that are interesting, silly, surprising and exciting.
