In performing arts, performances are the rewarding, exciting finales to extensive hours of hard work and perseverance. In my chorus class, students work day after day to perfect the musical repertoire they will present at concerts. In a way, concerts are like a musician's final exam, except more fun, memorable, and enjoyable! My students light up a stage with their enthusiasm, passion, and vocal talent; however, proper lighting could elevate their already professional level performances and concerts to the next level. My students would be able to learn the technical side of the arts and see what aspects make up a successful, entertaining performance.
