As students read the book, they will discover different characters, their traits and how those traits affect relationships. They will discover the uniqueness of themselves and others and how those qualities make the world a beautiful place. As they discover different points of view, they learn to value differences and how to communicate, build relationships and communities, and develop themselves because of the variety of traits, experiences, and cultures that surround them. The books will provide my students with a novel that can be used across the many subjects and discover how they, too, like Auggie, are wonders of the world!
