My students enjoy reading chapter books as a group. I have enjoyed listening to their thoughts and ideas as we discuss each chapter, character and event. I have been so impressed by the depth of their insight and how many times they can relate it back to today's world. Have you ever read an excerpt from a book and then had to wait to check out the book from the library to see how it ended? Think about how long it takes for 29 students to read the only copy our library has. This has happened to my class. The best way to become a good reader is to read.By donating to this project you will help me instill the love of reading into my class and give them opportunity to read a book that they chose.
