Basic classroom materials such as erasers, scissors, glue sticks, markers, crayons are needed and necessary for my students to be successful with the curriculum both in my room and their other classes. Sensory and fidget items are very necessary to help my students with ADHD focus and maintain their attention. They need a variety of options in order to find the best option for them. Flexible seating helps my students to learn in ways that are best for them. Some students may choose to stand, sit at traditional desks/tables, sit on the floor/rug or choose a comfy option such as a beanbag chair.
