These materials will help facilitate all the wonderful outcomes and experiences that come from play therapy. These toys will allow children to express their needs symbolically while providing the opportunity to develop self-control, insight, and self-understanding! While children play with these materials they work through some themes that are troublesome and give them the safe space that they may be in need of. Your donation of new play therapy toys and materials will provide high-risk children the opportunity to express themselves in a safe environment that aims at helping children grow through their exploring of themselves and others. The following resources that I have picked out for this project each represent a specific categories of Play Therapy. Real-life/Nurturing toys: Baby dolls, dollhouse, puppets, etc. Aggressive toys: aggressive puppet, handcuffs, bop bag, etc. Creative toys: dress-up clothes, music instruments, etc. Thank you for supporting the emotional growth of these wonderful children!
